Buzz Rickson's U.S. Navy N-1 Deck Jacket - Navy Demotex
The N-1 deck jacket is hallowed ground in military wear, and this brilliant option from Buzz Rickson’s is really something to behold. With a boxy shape, and plenty of period correct detail, this jacket has been cut from a 100% cotton Jungle Cloth which is incredibly durable. For ultimate warming, the brand have lined this N-1 with a full alpaca pile lining, adding metal eyelets in the underarms for breathability.
A buttoned throat tab adds protection from the elements, while the front closure consists of a Urea buttoned wind flap, and a custom reproduction Talon zipper with cotton zip pull. The brand have added a set of incredibly authentic care labels, including a ‘Demotex-ed’ label which refers to a rare technology which made the alpaca lining immune to moth destruction. As a final touch of heritage authenticity, a silver U.S. Navy stencil has been added to the back of the jacket.
